ROCK CLIMBING IN THE NATIONAL PARK PAKLENICA – CROATIA

The rock climbing Paklenica Croatia offer everything: from single and multi-pitch traditional routes to sport climbing on glorious limestone rock.

The Paklenica National Park is the most visited climbing center in Croatia, also popular outside Croatia. The close proximity of seawater gives this climbing site a special charm. It’s making Paklenica Riviera an ideal place to combine climbing and swimming.

The Paklenica National Park is located in Croatia about 50 km north of Zadar, between the coast and the highest peaks of Velebit, Vaganski Vrh (1757 m) and Sveto Brdo (1753 m). The deep canyons of Velika and Mala Paklenica here provide a direct access from the mountains to the sea.

The 400 meters high rock walls make this an ideal landscape climbing paradise for beginners and advanced. There are approximately 400 climbing routes of varying difficulty. If you are tired you can go for a swim on the beach situated 3 km near the canyon.

This week we are going to rock climbing every day a multi-pitch route on a peak in the Paklenica National Park.
The difficulty of the climbs are selected by the participants: there is possibility to climbing from III to VII difficulty.
In the afternoon our program continues: some sport climbing in the canyon or holding a climbing course to improve the climbing technique.
