CIMA BOCCHE 2743 m – LAGORAI MOUNTAINS

Guided hiking on the peak cima Bocche at 2743m in the Lagorai mountains situated in the Trentino region with the mountain trekking guide.

The Lagorai offer many trekking routes to discover our mountains, lakes and picturesque landscapes.

One of the most beautiful routes is the hiking on the peak cima Bocche at 2743 m.

Starting point is Fanch near Moena. From Moena you take the road to the San Pellegrino pass for approx. 5 km to Fanch, where you can park.
Here our excursion begins:
first go up a steep path approx. 700 m in altitude and you arrive in approx. 1.45 hours to the Lusia or Caserin saddle.
Now you see a beautiful plateau opens, where you continue almost flat passing through the spectacular Lusia lakes. This area is part of the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino natural park.
Continuing for another 40 min. you arrive on the Bocche fork. Here you can climb for another 200m in altitude to the Bocche peak at 2743 m (approx. 35 min.)
From the top we take the path 626, which descends.
At a height of 2555 m, turn left and descend on path 628 to the Grana fork, (40 min.) Where there are the remains of an old bivouac.

Now we continue to descend the whole valley until we reach the Negritella restaurant along the main road ca. 1 hour. For 2 km you have to follow the state road to return to the parking lot.
