VERDON GORGE ROCK CLIMBING – HAUTE-PROVENCE

The Verdon Gorge in southern France is one of the best limestone rock climbing areas in the world. Climbing a long route here is a real voyage. First walk into the gorge through the dark tunnels, or you abseil through the climbing route to a wooded terrace halfway up the 400 metre cliff, a very unique experience. Then you start to climb and hop you arrive the top, otherwise you must swim through the gorge.
