One week Free climbing in Sicily for beginners and experts.
Sicily pleases with a large selection of very well protected routes in all levels of difficulty, and a magnificent landscape.
Also culturally, Palermo in particular, Sicily is home to some Unesco World Heritage Sites.
Sicily is an ideal destination for climbers during autumn, winter and spring. The mild mediterranean climate allows to climb from September to April.
Here some places where we will climb:
– San Vito lo Capo at the “scogliera di Salinella” fantastic exposure south, routes from 4° to 7°, the biggest sport climbing area in Sicily.
– Monte Monaco, perfect and compact stone, the routes are on a wall which is 200m long. (5c-6a)
– Monte Pellegrino, place for climbing at Palermo, roofs, vertical walls, perfect conditions for a beautiful sport climbing or multi pitch day. Good for beginners.
