Via Ferrata, ‘Iron Way‘ in Italian, refers to a system of cables that cling to the side of the mountains on routes that would normally be the domain of rock climbers.
The expert local mountain guide teach you all you need to know, so you can safely clamber along ridges and up rock faces.

In the summer in the Dolomites  you can follow some of the most beautiful vie ferrate.
In the spring and autumn this introduction course starts near Arco on the Garda Lake.
Another good option for this season is the holiday region Bolzano.

Programm for two days via ferrata introduction:

First day:
you learn the safest way to climb a via ferrata, and to be aware of the technical and physical difficulties of the path. Introduction to the technical material and use of the via ferrata kit. In the afternoon we climb a short easy via ferrata.
Second day:
we climb a via ferrata medium difficulty. You can choose between: Tridentina, Masare, Sass Rigais, Catinaccio d’Antermoja.

It is necessary to have a proper equipment for the via ferrata:
helmet, harness, karabiners, energy absorbing systems, gloves. Can be hired locally, included in the total price.
