SKI TOURING in ALTA BADIA – Colfosco – Dolomites

Some proposals for the individual ski touring in Alta Badia:

ANTESUMMIT SAS CIAMPEI: 2425 m
difficulty: easy Skitour for beginner
difference in altitude: 800 m or by chairlift 500 m
Ascension time: 3 hours, with chairlift:  2 hours
Description: Start at Colfosco at 1640m, in Badia valley, with chairlift to the refuge Edelweiss and with the next lift to the mountain station at 1930 m. We go  uphill to reach the point 2056 m. Now we head to the left and more steeply we reach to the summit. So we have the right soil to learn how to do the “Spitzkehren”.

difficulty: medium
difference in altitude: 1060 m or by chairlift 750 m
Ascension time: 3 – 3 1/2 hours, or by chairlift:  2 -2 1/2 hours
Description: Start at Colfosco at 1640m, in Badia valley, with chairlift to the refuge Edelweiss and with the next lift to the mountain station at 1930 m. You climb up a basin, until you arrive at the Ciampeilake a 2173 m. Then we head to the right  up a steep slope.  Arrived on the plateau, you go from right to the summit. Ski deposit is below the top.
