via FERRATA BOCCHETTE – the BRENTA crossing

The Via Bocchette is one of the best via ferrata-routes in the Brenta group in the Alps.
The trail was already opened in the 1930 but still guarantees a superlative climbing adventure. On the five-day tour across the Brenta, the route leads in an altitude of more than 2700 meters.
Over narrow ledges, along yawning chasms, jagged rock faces and ladders at the Grostè pass through the Brenta to the south and back to Madonna di Campiglio.

Program:
1.day: sentiero Alfredo Benini:
start from Bolzano to Campo Carlo Magno and hiking to the sentiero Alfredo Benini: passo Grostè – Bocca Tuckett – hut  Tuckett.
Total time: 4 hours
2. Day: sentiero Bocchette Alte:
sentiero Bocchette Alte: Bocca di Tuckett – scala degli Amici – Bocca di Masodì – sentiero Olivia Detassis – scala degli Dei – hut Alimonta.
Total time: 6 hours
3. Day: via delle Bocchette Centrali:
via delle Bocchette Centrale: hut Alimonta – Bocca degli Armi – forcella Campo Basso – Bocca di Brenta –hut Pedrotti.
Total time: 4 hours
4. Day: sent. Brentari / sent. Dell’Ideale
sent. Brentari / sent. Dell’Ideale: rif. Pedrotti – Bocca di Tosa – Bocca d’Ambiez – Bocca dei Camosci – hut XII Apostoli.
Total time: 6 hours
5. Day:
from the hut XII Apostoli – Madonna di Campiglio  and back to  home.
Total time: 3 hours
