The via ferrata Burrone is situated on the border to South Tyrol in Trentino near Mezzocorona. The start is at 219 m and the top arrived at 876 m. Total 650 m ascent, total time about 3 1/2 – 4 hours.
A deep gorge is the entrance to a beautiful and impressive canyon walk. We climb on vertiginous ladders and steep sections until we finally reach at a very beautiful waterfall.
This via ferrata is suitable for beginners and for children. It’s very varied with ladders and stairs. Descent by cable car.
Originally the track was build in 1906 on initiative of Dr. Tullio Giovanelli, only the ladders at the entry are of a recent date.
